Notes: The site of organized baseball in this Tri-Cities community since 1923, the current facility dates to 1994 when the much of Cardinal Park was brought up to date. Long known as the ballpark with the Outfield Hill, the playing field climbed fifteen feet to the right field wall.  The slope was removed after the 2010 season during the renovation of entire Johnson City recreation complex.  In 1997 the playing field was named in Howard Johnson, the founding director of the city's Parks and Recreation Department. It was the home for a quarter of a century to the East Tennesee State University baseball team and continues as the home of the Science Hill High School team.
