Former Notable Players: None Notes: Overlooking the Tri-Cities region of Pasco, Kennewick and Richland, and the Columbia River valley this stadium has been home to both independent ball and affiliated teams. Opened in 1995 as Tri-Cities Stadium, it is one of the few stadiums that face south. This affords a panoramic view of the surrounding landscape of the Tri-Cities and mountain ranges beyond. The ballpark itself is perhaps most notable for the 137-foot sunshade along the first base side of the stadium. It was renamed Dust Devils Stadium, soon after the arrival of the Northwest League franchise from Portland, Oregon. Gesa Credit Union, a regional financial cooperative in Southeastern Washington, signed a ten-year deal for the naming rights in 2008. |
