Notes: Built on the ashes of its 1947 wooden predecessor, the latest iteration of Community Field serves as the home for Midwest League baseball in this Mississippi River town. Once the fire was extinguished in June 1971, community volunteers began to rebuild the ballpark. Backed by a local fund raisers, working day and night through inclement weather conditions, the volunteer group completed their efforts in 1973. All without missing a single home game during the reconstruction. A recent multi-year renovation has this Iowa park in pace with the expectations of the organized baseball and the fan.
