Notes: Built for the arrival of the California League in 1991, this ball park sits in the Mojave Desert on the outer edge of the Southern California suburbs. The climate can make for a high scoring game as the 3,000 foot elevation and the arid desert air combine for many long hit balls. Likewise the temperature can be in the triple digits at game time and fall fifty degrees after dusk. Originally dubbed Mavericks Stadium, the naming rights were sold in 2006 to Stater Bros. Markets, a regional supermarket chain.
