Notes:
Nestled in the northwestern corner of the Tulsa State Fairgrounds, it opened as
Robert B. Sutton Stadium. Named for its patron, a local oilman, it replaced the
nearby wooden Oiler Stadium. Sutton financed the construction after
attempts at public funding failed. For the 1982 season the facility was
renamed Tulsa County Stadium, when Sutton's business encountered legal and
financial difficulties. It was dubbed Drillers Stadium in 1989 after the
primary tenants. The original artificial turf was replaced natural surface in
1993. The team moved into a new downtown stadium for the 2010 leaving
future of Drillers Stadium uncertain.
