The 38 million dollar facility opened as the Southwestern Bell Bricktown Ballpark, in 2001 assuming the SBC Bricktown Ballpark moniker and then took on the AT&T imaging in 2006, through a series of telecommunications acquisitions and mergers through the 2010 season. With the 2012 season, the naming rights were sold to Newcastle Casino, owned by the Chickasaw Nation.
