Former Notable Players: Ian Kinsler Notes: Built during the revival of Oklahoma City's old warehouse area, the Bricktown District, it also hosts the season ending Bricktown Showdown Triple A championship game, between the International League and Pacific Coast League titlists, and the Big 12 Conference tournament. The 38 million dollar facility opened as the Southwestern Bell Bricktown Ballpark, in 2001 assuming the SBC Bricktown Ballpark moniker and then took on the AT&T imaging in 2006, through a series of telecommunications acquisitions and mergers through the 2010 season. With the 2012 season, the naming rights were sold to Newcastle Casino, owned by the Chickasaw Nation. |
