Former Notable Players: Justin Duchscherer, David Eckstein, Shea Hillenbrand, Roy Oswalt, Carl Pavano, and Johan Santana. Notes: Located in Cooper Park, this ballpark was built in 1990 to serve as a home for American Amateur Baseball Congress tournaments. It was upgraded when Battle Creek landed a Midwest League team for the 1995 season. After the 2006, the stadium returned to the exclusive home of amateur baseball as the franchise relocated to Bay City, Michigan. The ballpark is named for a local man, Cooper Othniel Brown, the first president of the AABC. |
