Notes: Located in the City of Sarasota Sports Complex, Ed Smith Stadium is the Spring Training home for the Baltimore Orioles and the former base for multiple Florida State League affiliate. It is one of the first HOK-designed baseball stadiums, it succeeded Payne Park as the Grapefruit League venue in Sarasota. The stadium is named a local civic leader and supporter of youth sports. With the arrival of the Orioles the facility underwent its first major renovation in time for the 2010 season. |
