Notes: Built on the site of the original Falcon Park (circa 1927), the park is one of the few remaining neighborhood ballparks that were the backbone of the NY-Penn League a decade ago. It was built during the mid-1990s when New York state helped fund ball parks in upstate cities of Syracuse, Auburn, Rochester and Batavia. The playing field was dedicated to Leo Pinckney, a local sports writer, who brought minor league baseball back to Auburn in the 1950s and went on to serve as president of the NY-Penn League.
