Notes: Located in the far southern Birmingham suburb of Hoover, the park is nestled in a planned residential community and office campus. Built as the successor to the fabled Rickwood Field, it was one of the largest stadiums in the Southern League. 16,247 fans were stuffed into The Met for NBA legend Michael Jordan's last game as a Baron in 1994. The stadium as serves as the home for SEC baseball tournaments. In 2007 the naming rights were sold to Regions Financial Corporation, an area financial services company. When the Barons returned to downtown Birmingham in 2013 the name reverted back to Hoover Metropolitan Stadium.
