Notes: Home to the Yale University Elis since 1928, Yale Field has seen a who's who of Hall of Famers (Ruth, Gehrig, Williams, and Waner) play there as major leaguers barnstormed through during the first half of the 20th century. It was site of the fabled collegiate pitching duel between future major leaguers Ron Darling (Yale) and Frank Viola (St. John's).
