Former Notable Players: Notes: The facility serves as the Spring Training home of the parent club, New York Mets and the summer home of the Florida State League St. Lucie Mets. Built by real estate developer Thomas J. White, the park bore his name until 2004 when the naming rights were sold as an 11 million dollar renovation The fan amenities were upgraded, while the clubhouse and offices were expanded. The naming rights were sold, in 2004. to the Core Communities, LLC's Town of Tradition nearby planned community. In 2010 Digital Domain Holdings, a digital production studio focused on visual effects, assumed the naming rights. At end of the 2012 season, facility was dubbed Mets Stadium when Digital Domain filed for bankruptcy. |
