Notes: Local governments and preservationists rallied to save this wooden grandstand home of professional, American Legion, college and textile league teams in South Carolina's Upcountry. Abandoned by organized baseball in 1994 for Kannapolis, North Carolina, the park deteriorated to the point of being closed due to safety concerns. Located in a City of Spartanburg community park, stabilized and renovated it is now host to local high school and youth league games. It is named after David Duncan, a local Civil War hero and Reconstruction-era businessman. The park was first lit for night games in 1936. Among the box seats are some 582 seats salvaged from Connie Mack Stadium.
