Notable Former Players: Drew Henson, Adrian Hernandez, Nick Johnson, Ricky Ledee, Mike Lowell, and Shane Spencer Notes: Located in the Norwich (Connecticut) Industrial Park, the stadium is named for the former U.S. Senator, Thomas J. Dodd, who drove economic development in that part of the state. Built at the cost of $9.3 million, the stadium hosts numerous levels of amateur baseball, in addition to the Eastern League franchise. After the 2009 season, the franchise departed for Richmond, Virginia to be based at The Diamond.
