Located in the Norwich (Connecticut) Industrial Park,
the stadium is named for the former U.S. Senator, Thomas J. Dodd,
who drove economic development in that part of the state. Built
at the cost of $9.3 million, it was first home to an Eastern League
franchise, now currently a short-season NY-Penn League baseball
team. The facility is also used by the University of Connecticut
baseball team and for concerts during the year.
