Notes: The home of minor league baseball for the Hampton Roads cities of Hampton and Newport News from 1948 to 1992. It was built as a joint venture between the two cities, honoring the fallen of World War II. The first tenant was the Newport News Baby Dodgers, of the Piedmont League, and the last was the Carolina League's Peninsula Pilots. In between numerous franchises from levels of play ranging from the International League to the Piedmont League called War Memorial Stadium home. It has undergone a recent rebirth as a Coastal Plain League team has become established and the facility has been polished and upgraded.
