Notes: Located in a Charlotte, North Carolina suburb, just over the South Carolina state border, it was the home to both Double A and Triple A teams from 1990 to 2013. Until the franchise moved to a downtown Charlotte ballpark in 2014. It was built, like Coca-Cola Field in Buffalo, New York, with an eye toward expansion if a Major League Baseball franchise was secured for the Queen City. The former NBA Charlotte Hornets franchise worked out at their practice facility just beyond the right field foul pole. The color scheme and pattern for the seats was designed by the fashion designer Alexander Julian, a Charlotte native.
