Notes: Located in a Charlotte, North Carolina suburb, just south of the South Carolina state border, it has been the home to both Double A and Triple A teams since its completion in 1990.  It was built, like Coca-Cola Field in Buffalo, New York, with an eye toward expansion if a Major League Baseball franchise was secured for the Queen City. The former NBA Charlotte Hornets franchise worked out at their practice facility just beyond the right field foul pole.  The color scheme and pattern for the seats was designed by the fashion designer Alexander Julian, a Charlotte native.
