Notes: "The Joe" is built on the campus of the Hudson Valley Community College, which serves the Hudson Valley communities of Albany, Schenectady and Troy. The baseball stadium is just part of a $13 million dollar sports complex that includes football and soccer fields, tennis courts and classrooms. The ballpark is named for the former New York State Senate Majority Leader who spearheaded the drive for the funding as part of a campaign to revitalize Troy and Rensslear County. The facility was designed by the DLR Group, which also penned such parks as AT&T Field, Chattanooga, Tenn., Skylands Park, Augusta, New Jersey and L.P. Frans Stadium, Hickory, North Carolina
