It opened as the GPU Energy Park, with the naming rights sold to GPU, Inc., a regional utility holding company. The stadium was later rebranded to the current moniker as the result of a merger between GPU and FirstEnergy Corp., diversified energy company. In addition to being among the South Atlantic League season attendance leaders, the stadium is also host to concerts. |
