Notes: The former spring training home of the Detroit Tigers until 1966,
when they moved to the more spacious Joker
Marchant Stadium. It was the home field for the FSL Lakeland Tigers for 2002
season, while Tigertown underwent a year long renovation project. It was the
spring training home for the Cleveland Indians from 1924 to 1927, with the
Tigers moving in with the 1934 season. It is named after Clare Henley, a
local merchant and baseball supporter in Lakeland. The home of the Florida
Southern College team for more forty years, it underwent a $250,000 restoration
effort to be ready for the 2002 FSL season. It is listed on the National
Register of Historic Places.
