Former Notable Players: Joe Kennedy, Jared Sandberg, and Jason Standridge Notes: Opened as the Disney's Wide World of Sports® Complex, in the middle of Walt Disney World resort, just west of Orlando, the Rays moved from Tinker Field for the 2000 season. The Atlanta Braves have also made the facilities their spring training home. The naming rights were sold, in 2002, to Frito-Lay, the maker of Cracker Jack, as part of a company-wide marketing program with Walt Disney Co. At the end of the 2003 season, the Southern League franchise left the Disney facility for Montgomery, Alabama. The stadium naming rights were sold again, in 2007, to HanesBrands and the stadium was rebranded Champion Stadium, in deference to the company's number two apparel brand. In addition to Braves Grapefruit League games, the stadium hosts Tampa Bay Rays several regular season games.
