Notes: For many years it was the among the oldest facilities used in the minor leagues. The stadium was built in memory of the Guilford County residents who died in World War I. Night games were played here four years before the first major league game under the lights. A stream, with fish, flows under right field, from the foul line out past the outfield wall. The South Atlantic League franchise moved into the new downtown stadium, NewBridge Bank Park, for the 2005 season, while World War Memorial Stadium remains for local college and amateur teams' use.
